We are Alexandra and Arnaud, a French couple who, in our forties, decided to listen to the call of the wild.

Our journey didn't begin with a finished resort. When we first arrived on these 7 hectares facing the Atlantic, there was nothing but a silent, weathered ruin. We saw what others couldn't: a diamond in the rough, a bridge between the sky and the lagoon of the Ria Formosa.

We Built This Dream, Root by Root

Over the years, our family—along with our daughters, dogs, and horses—has poured heart and soul into transforming this land. We didn't just build walls; we restored the earth.

A Forest in the Making: We have personally planted over 500 trees of various Mediterranean species, creating shade, life, and assuring wildlife to spread.

The Living Spaces: We rebuilt the main house and the stunning 50m² Artist’s Yoga Studio from the ground up.

The Equestrian Soul: Our horses live in total freedom, roaming the 7 hectares as a natural herd within the fences we built ourselves.

A Love Affair with the Ria Formosa

More than just a location, we fell deeply and completely in love with the Ria Formosa. This fascination drove us to go beyond mere observation: we chose to follow professional trainings in Naturalism and Geology with the IPMA (Instituto Português do Mar e do Ambiente) and Ciença Viva to truly understand the secrets of this exceptional ecosystem.

Today, what we love most is sharing this knowledge with you. Whether it’s pointing out a rare migratory bird in our private bird sanctuary or explaining the unique movement of the tides, our mission is to pass on our passion for this fragile and magnificent environment.
