You will be introduced to Ethology science, which is the scientific study of animal behaviour. We want you to understand how the horses interact and why, to learn to read their psychological needs and challenges.

Then you will be able to analyse your horse and his environment, make sure he is safe, healthy, happy and ready to connect with you.

Our classes start with a time of ground work. This part is essential to connect with the horse and to establish trust. We always teach new skills or introduce new things first on the ground before riding.

There are plenty of exercises for your horse and you to do on the ground.

You'll be surprise of how intense the ground work could be ! While working with your horse you're going to improve your posture, your breathing.

We stick to the "Ecole de la Légereté" principles : this riding school founded by Mr Karl from "Le Cadre Noir de Saumur" aims to priorize the wellbeing and the understanding of the horse.

According to Mr Karl, all the horses are capable of reaching a high level of dressage, no matter their morphology, if we work with intelligence, patience, empathy and respect. Violence, force and coercion are completly prohibited.
